Admission documents can be submitted in following ways:
- Personally to the Educational Department of Zaoksky Academy;
- Through the postal operators of public communication;
- In digital form (information is on the web-site: Zaoksky Academy.zau.ru).
Admission documents for foreigners:
When applying (in Russian) for admission to Zaoksky Academy foreign citizen have to submit the following documents:
- A copy of the identity document;
- The original state document on education (or its duly certified copy), or the original document of a foreign state certifying the level of education and (or) qualifications recognized in the Russian Federation as a state high school diploma or a state document on secondary special education (or its duly certified copy);
- A duly certified translation into Russian of a foreign state document certifying the level of education and (or) qualifications and its annexes (if the latter is provided by the legislation of the State which issued the document on education); 6 photos.
All translations into Russian should be made on the name specified in the entry visa.
Documents for Registration of Foreign Citizens
For citizens of the CIS countries (Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan):
- 2 photocopies of the passport, by which an applicant entered Russia and on which his/her migration card was issued. If an applicant entered Russia by a foreign passport, then it needs a notarized translation (in Zaoksky this service costs about $ 12). Original translation remains with an applicant, and the passport office receives copies of each page (not notarized);
- 4 photographs (3x4); black-and-white or color;
- A migration card with a stamp specifying the date and place of crossing the border.
For the citizens of Georgia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and foreign countries (Germany, USA, Israel, Argentina, Mexico and others):
A student visa. A tourist visa can’t be registered for the period of studies.
Applicants have to contact the Educational Department of Zaoksky Academy no later than 4 months prior to the planned date of entry into Russia by phone (487 34) 02-04-30;
The requirements for registration at the place of residence and for registration at the place of study are the same as to the citizens of the CIS (See above.).
The procedure of registration for foreign citizens
Foreigners are required to register at the place of residence within three days from the entry date into Russia. The entry date is the date which is mentioned in the migration card. If the entry date is different from the actual date of arrival at the point of destination (for example, a person crossed the Russian border by train on 20.06.2012, and that train arrived in Moscow on 23.06.2012), you must attach a photocopy of the ticket, specifying the date and time of arrival at the point of destination.
Citizens of all countries must give notice of their arrival at the place of residence within three days. Notification form is given at the border.
On arrival at Zaoksky an applicant should contact the Educational Department (Administrative Building, 2-nd fl., room 30), and resolve all issues concerning the registration.
The penalty for violation of the registration procedure is 400 000 rubles with making a report of the case on the organization and the violator.
