On the 4th, 5th, and 6th of January, 2017 an annual Christmas program took place. More than 120 children participated in the program.

On Sunday morning, December 25, 2016, an aircraft TU-154, which belonged to the Russia’s Ministry of Defense, on its way to Syria crashed in the Black Sea. There were 92 people onboard: eight crew members and 84 passengers. Of them were sixty-four the artists of Alexandrov’s Ensemble, nine journalists, a head of the Charitable Foundation “Fair Help”, Elizaveta Glinka, also known as “Doctor Lisa”, and two state officials.
